Hiltner Combustion Systems was formed in 1998 with a goal of
providing a resource to industrial and stationary engine
manufacturers seeking to find profitable solutions to tightening
emissions regulations, expanding market opportunities and intense
competition. In the last 9 years, HCS personnel have provided over
20,000 hours of engineering support to established industrial
partners, new startup companies, and universities. Several
successful and profitable engines have been brought to market
based on collaboration between HCS and its partners, with more
set to appear in the near future. Simulation, analysis and testing services are used in concert to efficiently develop and optimize new technology for our clients. This approach provides high rates of return to
companies willing to invest in product research and development.
Hiltner Combustion Systems’ primary goal is to bring clean,
efficient, and profitable engines to stationary, industrial, and
off road markets by providing innovative and intelligent services
to our clients. In keeping with this goal, HCS does not seek out
work from government institutions but rather focuses on the needs
of current and future engine manufacturers. It is our belief that the
only direct measure of our success is in the profitability of HCS
clients and the proliferation of engine technology developed
through our ongoing partnerships with industry.
